(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian A N.Z. Cable Association)

LONDON, Jan. 10,

Tho Rally Chronicle’s Dublin correspondent states that peace proposals have again undergone an adverse change, due to the fact that conversations between Mr. Lloyd George and Father O’Flanighan disclosed that both sides were unyielding. Father o’Flanagan was. in touch with the Sinn Fein leaders before he left for London, and their attitude was unequivocally hostile to the Homo Rule Act Mr. Lloyd George insists that tho Act must bo accepted, though he will consider amendments suggested by both cQiincile for Ireland. j

It is understood that the Sinn Fein have decided to contest' the elections, and it is expected that the Sinn Fein, having demonstrated their strength by winning, will render the Act abortive by boycotting the Irish Parliament and forcing the Viceroy to dissolve it.
