HOARDING OF HIDES
(United Press Association.) PALERSTOiFn., Feb. 22. A meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Amdlgal* mated Society of Raiiway &ervants passed a resolution, on Saturday to the effect that the Executive council of Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants draw the .attention of the Prime Minister to the., hoarding of hides in the Dominion, causing the Inflated prices of boots, and boot’ 1 impairs, and request the Government to take immediate steps to release hides as a means of preventing an industrial upheaval in the near future. , - *
