GOODS TRAIN DERAILED

' A goods train proceeding from Waipukurau to Napier, cam« to grief on the curve on Opapa grade at 11 o’clock on Satur-' dav morning- Six waggons laden with sheep, became derailed and piled up, the. balance of the train pushing on and over them. In aU, seven sheep-waggons and five waggons containing chaff, timber and coal, etc,, the permanent way. Many of the sheep were killed end maimed, but no railwaymen were injured. The line was cleared, by midnight on Saturday.
