NELSON DEFENCE RIFLE CLUB

The Nelson Defence Rifle Club held a competition for Mr J. Anstice’s trophy on Saturday afternoon over ranges 200 and 600 yards, the weather conditions being almost perfect, as was Rifleman Harry Day’s shooting.- He put on -a possible at 600 yards (this range being fired first) and missed the possible at 200 yards by the nearest margin, making a grand total of 69, 70 points for 14 shots, no(., requiring a sighter at either range.
