MINERS' DEMANDS.
NO SETTLEMENT YET.
Negotiations are still proceeding between the Government, the mine-owners, and the Miners' Federation >■ in connection with the tatter's demand for Vn increase in wages, says the Post. Tho miners' delegates are now holding a conference in Wellington, and consideration has been given to the employers' offer of a bonus if full time is worked. The men held conferences with the Ministers concerned, but prefer not to make any. public statement until after the- conclusion of negotiations. Negotiations will probably last for soma time yet.
