('. Tlarlev, E. S Hoult, J A. Wallace. TJ. Rverett, K. d. Allen (hon. treasurer), and H. Kaundeis (seeretaiv). Apologies were received from Messrs J. H. Cock and James llnnt. and' Dr. Rett. A number of applications for assistance were received, from dependents of soldiers, and in most- cast's relief was granted. •: Numerous applications by returned soldiers were dealt with, and in most instances assistance was given. The executive reported on 21 application where advances had been made, in most cases to men just returned. It was resolved that the executive's action in these cases be endorsed. Accounts amounting to £76 7s Cd were passed"" for payment. Mrs Crawford 'reported on several cases, assistance, for whom had been left to her discretion. Tt was resolved that ■Mrs Crawford's report be received. The hon. treasurer (Mr K. -7.
