The final stage in the senior championship singles was reached on Saturday, with the following results : IHogg -beat S. Baigent and Eban; H. Tunnicliff beat S. Baigent; Ivo Tunnicliff beat Arnold; Wilkinson beat, Eban. The last game, won by 19 to 18, decided the 'Championship, as -Wilkinson has not lost a game and has only one match to play, which cannot alter the result. The runner-up is between Eban, Hogg and Hi. Tunnicliff, each having two losses so far.
Junior Championship (Duthie Cup) : Duncan beat 'Harling, Harling 'beat, Lightband, Harling 'beat Belfit, Batt beat Win, Win boat Cameron. ' Four rinks leave for Motueka on Wednesday next at 9 o'clock and will play two games each during the afternoon.
