The death has occurred at Collingwood of Mrs Emma Jeffries, wife of Mr John Jeffries, at the age of 76. She* was. born at Burton, Bristol, England,. and arrived in Nelson in 1857 to join her brother, the late Mr Charles Lucas. She was married to Mr Jeffries at. the Cathedi-al by Rev. Butt, 58 years ago; ■ and had been a highly respected resident of Collitigwpod for the last 44 •y?iarp._ She, leaves a 'family of four ' daughter and'seven sons, as* follows : Mrs J.
