VEHICLES WITHOUT LIGHTS.
To th« Edit™-* j| •Sir,—Will vou ImmJlv allow me to call 1 attention through your columns to the | number of vehicles being driven m the M
country at night without lights. Especially qs this so along the Stoke roads. The "writer on one evening between 6.30 and 7 p.m.. passed no- less than three heavy horse vehicles, one- inotor,_ and three motor bicycles, all without lights, and the night was exceptionally dark. Surely more drastic steps should be taken to make it worth these peoples while to study the lives of others. Another danger and constant source oi annoyance to residents is stray stock on th- roads. Trusting those in authority will take speedy action to better protect the travelling public and residents. I am, etc., TRAVELLER. Julv 12, 1915.
