/ BOMBAY, Feb. 13. A special court at Siinthrampur sentenced Govindgar, a self-styled "prophet, j. to death for waging war -against, the Xing. Bimja, his chief associate, was sentenced to transportation for .life, and 28 followers to three years' imprisonment.' •• .• ■
Govindgar attracted an enormous following. He defied the authorities, persuading his disciples that he had power to n?ake them invulnerable against the soldiers' guns.
