GOOD PRICES OF SUBURBAN LAND. A WELCOME RAIN. (United-Pbess Association.) TIMARU, Thursday. At a sale of extra suburban land today a number of sectio n at Washdyke were sold. Lots of three-eights of an acre .sold at £47 each and single acres at £SO, £6O and £65 each, with larger lots at £29 10s to £4O an acre. One lot of 100 acres, about two miles from Post Office, sold at £42 10s an acre. The vendors were the Rhodes Trustees. The late rain was general over the district, but it was late for some of the spring crops, though just in time for rape and root crops.
