At her request all the little ones were brought out and crowded into the car, and the Queen took them off to purchase toys, sweetmeats, and the like. In the course of the run round the town the car reached a cinematograph theatre. The Queen promptly had the motor car stopped, and took her charges to see the entertainment. While in the theatre her identity became known, and when the party emerged a cheering crowd awaited ' them, hundreds of people following i them back to. the colege. The Queen, .in taking leave of the orphans, kissed each one tenderly, and was soon the centre of some 200 pupils, all of whom demanded equality of treatment, and obtained it.
