TROTTING.
NELSON CLUB'S RACE MEETING. The Nelson Trotting Club's annualrace meeting will be held at Richmond Park on Saturday next. Record acceptances have been received, and over 60 horses will be engaged at the meeting. Some good racing should be witnessesd from the large fields, and as the races are being held on the weekly half-holi-day there should be a large attendance. The Mayor has invited citizens to observe a holiday from noon instead of from 1 o'clock, the ordinary hour of closing. Trains will leave Nelson on Saturday at 10 a.m., 12.45 p.m., and 1.45 p.m. The first race is set down for 1 o'clock. Special trains to serve those who attend tho trotting races on Saturday will run as follows: — Leave Nelson at 10.0 a.m., 12.45 p.m., and 1.45 p.m.; returning, leaving Richmond for Nelson at 6.0 p.m. and 7.0 p.m. A train will also leave Richmond for Belgrove at 5.45 p.m.
