■'-. . . ,HA WERA, Monday. . The nightdress of a seven-year-old daughter' of Mr B. Kappeley, settler at Pih'ama, caught alight on Friday night while the girl was putting a log onvthe ' fire. .She sustained severe injuries; and died on Sunday night.
