BATTERY FANCY FAIR.
ANOTHER LARGE ATTENDANCE. \ Last evening the Ba/.aar and Fan* y Fair al the Drill Shed were a.L'aiii well | pationised, and excellent business was * done at the various stalls and side shows. The Harrison Band played selections outside the Hall, and a n*!.*---i-i'llaiioous entertainment was presented duriii!**' lhe evenim*;. items bein I,'1 ,' : contributed by Messis F. Aydon and I I'mil (cornet duet), Hindley (comic), , Frith (funny stories), A. Aydon. jr.. I (sons;). Miss Wimsett (mandoline solo), I and Miss H. Richmond (song). Miss Fowler played the accompaniments. I "Fitzsimmons and Corbctt," two fij;htiiiK dummies, were cleverly manipulated , i by Mr (',. .Johnson, of Wakefield, and caused considerable amusement. I I j To-ni»ht the Bazaar will be opened , at 7.30, and special attractions are ', I promised. An entire change of pro- • gramme will be submitted by the | : • "Battery Coons," and "Corbet! and 1 Fitzsimmons" anil ''Snorting Carl" will j ' agaiii appear. Country visitors will have ■ 1 nn opportunity of visiting the Bazaar f to-night, the railway manager having I kindly consented to delay the out-train j until' 10.30 p.m. I The Citizens' Band will perform outj side the Hall.
