THE OUTBREAK IN THE BALKANS.
(United Press Association.) LAST NIGHT'S CABLES. LONDON, Yesterday. The Times" Sofia correspondent states that Turkey, in a note to Bulgaria, referred to the exportation of Bulgarian explosives and incursions into Macedonia. Bulgaria objected to the strong language of the note which, though not formally accepted as a protest, necessitated an equally strong reply. Pourparlers are proceeding. "The Standard's" Constantinople correspondent says nere is an impression that Russia is drivinj; Turkey into an imbroglio with Bulgaria. Other advices indicate that Britain, France, and Italy have notified tho Pcrte that indemnities havu been claimed by those of their subjects suffering by the Salonika disturbances. Charges of dynamite were laid between the Banji: and Post Office an Salonika on Wednesday, ana tbi electric batteries were in working order, but the wires broke, otherwise the foreign quarter would have been exploded. It is reported that four hundred carriages on the Klausenburg-Kron-stadt railway have been ordered to be in readiness for the conveyance of troops. Two officers of the general staff arrived at Klausenburg, and one proceeded to 6he Roumanian: frontier. Turkish battalions at Okrida encountered a strong body of Revolutionaries t anil a- hundred; sol'diere were killed, and ten officers were killed, and six wounded. Seventy Revolutionaries were killed and/ twenty-cne wounded. v , ;.::
