The alleged libel was a cartoon impnting* cowardice. Colonel Ricardo admitted having been severely reprimanded by General Hntton for the ragged condition of hia men, but- he. said the censure was made in a moment of rage, and that it was afterwards recalled by General Hutton. ;,
