AX AUCKLAND PKOTEST. AUCKLAND, July 26. A meeting of line fishermen was held to-day to consider the question of trawling in the Hauraki (,ulf. After discussion a number of those present signed a j petition to Parliament, stating that the present mode of trawling will, in the course of time, denude the Gulf of fish.
