'J HE JURY LOCKED UP, [united press association.] I SYDNEY, June 20. la the third trial of the C >nway poisoning case Jane Smith, .he accused, pare as the reason of not bringing friends over here a. witnesses that it was quite bad enough for herself and ber husband. |In a low broken voice she made a statement mateiially the sam° as the last trial closing with a declaration of her innocence. 'I he Judge, summing up strongly against the accused, said there was not a tittle of evidence to show that the deceased took a tonic, and so supported the theory of defendant's counsel of aggregation of poison. At ten o'clock to-night the jury wore , ur able to agree to a t erdict, and were locked up for tho night.
