SOME CHOICE EXPRESSIONS. When the Public liepennes Bill tvas before the House, tho Premier said it was introduced at the instance of the AuditorGeneral- while the Minister of Education informed the Legislative Council that it was intended as an indictment of that officer. In the latter chamber Mr Twomey referred to the Auditor-General variously as a " a man with a kink in his mind," and as " not a god or a brazen monkey," and "a crank," and the Minister sat passi re while such epithets were applied to a public officer till Mr Bowen and Mr Shriuiski called attention to the mattor. Mr Walker then coolly remark, ed that he did not think Mr TVomeys language excessive.
