Passengers: Miss Huxtable and 2 in steerage. — steamer Lily, 20, Scully, for Motueka, — ketch Champion, 30, Robinson, for for Havelock. . • — ketch Transit, 23, Kicketts, for Waitapu. — ketch Comet, 23, Caldwell, for Fakawan. The Kennedy left Wanganni last night for Westport and Greymouth. The Waverley leaves Wellington at 5 p.m. to-day for Motueka and Nelson. She sails at 10 o'clock to-morrow night for West Coast ports and Foxtou, calling at Collingwood, and leaving there same tide on Thursday morning. The Mawhera will arrive frora Picton and Wellington this afternoon, and sail at 6 p.m. for tho West Coast. The Penguin arrived from South at 7*45 this morning, and sails at 8 o'clock tonight for.- Picton and Wellington. Her crew were exercised in the monthly boat and fire drill this morning. Mr Fletcher, chief steward, has exchanged places with Mr OJConnor, ohief steward of the Wakatipu: The Grafton leaves Westport at 8 o'ciook to-night, will arrive here to-mor-row afternoon, and sail at 8 p.m. tor Wellington. *• The Mahinapua sailed for Taranaki and Manukau •at 5. pm. yesterday, and ' reached the former port at B*3o this moroinp, Tbe Lily 'sails for Motueka at 5 p.m. to-day, and returns here to-morrow morning. Tbe Lady Barkly will be detained . at Takaka . until to-night, and will not arrive here until enrly to-morrow morning. She sails for Motueka at 6 a.m. The Alameda, with the. San Francisco mail, will bedueat Auckland on Thursday, but as she left 'Frisco on her contract date she is expected to' arrive to-morrow night. Tlie Mahinapua brings down the Southern'poriion of tbe mail.
