The fire apparently originated in the premises of Aofand, Dudley & Go,, and before it was extinguished it had completely gutted their building, together with those oocupied by T. G. Moling, Cook _ Gray, the Canterbury Insurance Protection Assooiation, Dufeny, solicitor, and offloes used by Bowman & Harding.
