Passengers : Misses Reece, Higgins, Carriok, Eite, Hutohins, Allport, Mesdames Adams, Stevens, Glasgow, Meesrs Mereer, Booth, Hursthouse, Sutherland, Dodson, Adams, Marsden, Crowl, Stevens, Moulder, and Glasgow. — steamer Elsie, 14, Johnston, for Biwaka. The Aorere is detained at Foxton to.day by bad weather. The Waverley left Patea this morning for Wellington. The Charles Edward ia detained at Wellington by a N.W. gale, but hopes to leave tbis evening for Nelson. She is announced to sail at noon on Sunday for West Coast ports. The Kennedy left Westport at 10.30 this morning, and will arrive here early tomorrow. She sails for Greymouth direot at 8 aim. on Sunday. The Murray arrived from Wanganui this afternoon too late for the tide. She oomes into harbour about 6 p.m., and sails for Wanganui and Welliogton at 9 p.m, to-mor-row« The Wanaka arrived from Pioton and Wellington at 8 o'clock this morning, and sailed by the same tide at 11 a.m. for Pioton, Wellington, Taranaki and Manukau. The Grafton sailed ior the West Coast last night, The Lady Barkly returns from Golden Bay this afternoon. She makes a trip to Motaeka to-morrow, leaving here at 8 a.m.
