The Whitcombe and Tombs Dispute.

CinusTCiTunCH, August 18. At a special meetiug of the Board of Management of the Typographical Association on Saturday evening, the following resolution was unanimously adopted :— " That while having been quite prepared all through the recent labour crisis to follow the lead of the Maritime Council, this Board heartily approves of Mr Millar's ma*_ifesto declaring against a general strike, believing that the ' boycott ' will be found efficacious in briugiug about a satisfactory settlement of the di.pute ; and further, this Board hereby expresses its entire confidence in the Executive of the Maritime Council.
