Behring Sea Fisheries.
London, August 16. _ In commenting on the diplomatic relations with the United States Government re the Behring Sea Fisheries dispute, the English press generally applauds the action of the Marquis of Salisbury and the firmness that was shown by him. The Standard, while admitting that the position is not without misgivings, considers that England canrrot surrender the Canadian rig-hts to those waters.
