RICHMOND TOWN BOARD.

The ordinary monthly mteting of the Board was hei. on Tuesday, October 9 ;b, r.t 730, . The Clerk read tbo proceedings taken by the Returning Officer for the election of the new Board. The membera present were : Messrs J. G.. HarknsEss, J. M. Crouoher, H. Hoklaway, S. Fit tail, and G. Talbot. Mr J. Or. .iarkn.ss was unanimously reelected Ch'.irman, and Mr 1 albol was elec:ed Treasurer of the new Board. Messrs H. Holdawsy and Joseph Beat were appointed a Works Committee for twelve montbß. f The Chairman reported what he had done in the matter of the debentures for the required loan, and had also consulted with the property owners concerned in the water supply. Application was made by Mr G. Green for permission to extend the bridge over the water way adjoining his property. Granted on the usual conditions. Payments were authorised for £18 13s 3d.
