A new musical toy, called the " bigophone," after tfie name of the inventor, M. Bigot, has become the rage at the local fetes so numerous around Paris. Ifc is a cardboard horn of some fantastic shape, requiring no knowledge of music to play it, nnd only requiring that the air to be played should be known by ear to the performer, who hums it through the mouth piece. According to the voice of the executant, the instrument becomes a bassoon, cornet and trombone, flute, flageolet, &c , and complete bands are formed with it, and compete with eaoh other, like the orpheonic societies. A grand fes'ival of " bioeophonists " has just been held at a fete on the banks of the Marne, near St. Maur, "When medals and prizeß were distributed, the affair passing off amidst great enthusiasm.
