The Bulgarian Difficulty.

[Reuter's Agency.] St. Petersburg, October 13. The Viedwvwste publishes an article today, in which it urges the occupation of Bulgaria by Kussia. It declares that Russia still remains free, and has no need to listen to the wishes of the other Powers. (Special to Press Association.) London, October 11. The Bulgarian elections have resulted as follows :— Supporters of the Regency, 400. M. Zanl>off, the man who proclaimed the deposition of Prince Alexander, only secured 21 followers. (Per s.s. Hauroto, via the Bluff.) On arriving at Rustchuk, on Sept. 30, Prince Alexander sent a most submissive telegram to the Czar, professing great gratitude and entire devotion to His Majesty of Russia. Tho Czar, he said, had given him hid crown, and into the hands of Russia's 1 Sovereign he was ready to render it again. The Czar's reply was curt art! forbidding. : He declares that he cannot approve of Prince Alexander's return to Bulgaria, foreseeing . its sinister consequences, and so long as the ! Prince remains in Bulgaria he (the Czar) L will have nothing to do with the pad condition to which the country is reduced. The Prince may act as he thinks fit. The Czar ' reserves to himself to judge what his father's venerated memory, the interests of Russia, ' and peace in the East require of him. This s declaration of the Czar quite extinguishes all ' 'hope of reconciliation between him and Prince Alexander, and constitutes a most I serious menace.not only for Bulgarian indei pendence, but for the peace of Southeastern . Europe, where the situation generally grows i more and more disquieting".
