HAMILTON having advertised in the Examiner that he will deliver a Lecture (Monday, October 22) on the Casts of the Heads af Burgess, Kelly, and Levy, I feel in duty bound to inform the. public that Mr. Hamilton takes upon himself an unwarrantable liberty now, as he had done before. He advertised a Lecture to take place (October 8) without asking permission to have the casts. Seeing that it was intended for a good object , the Committee was allowed to have them for that evening, though they were incomplete. A second advertisement appeared in the same paper — "Casts successfully completed under his * superintendence, &c," I deny that, and beg to state that he has no claim whatever upon them.
