It is in contemplation to erect a church in Timavu, Canterbury, in connection with the Presbyterian denomination there. The cost of the building is not to exceed £750, and stoue is to be used iu its construction. A flour mill, owned by a company, is about to be established at Timuku, in Canterbury.
