WEDDING.

COULTER—MELLOR. The wedding was celebrated recently at the Methodist Church, Kaiapoi, of Bernice, daughter of Mrs. Mellor, Carew Street, Kaiapoi, and Clifford Coulter. The bride wore an ankle length white satin frock and a white lace veil with orange blossoms. Her bouquet was a sheaf of white lilies. The bridesmaid was Miss Esme Richardson, who wore an almond green, satin frock with green shoes to match. She carried a. bouquet of freesias. Each guest was presented with a buttonhole of freesias and maidenhair. The breakfast was held at Eric Gray’s tea-room. The tables were decorated with narcissi and the room with greenery. Mrs. R. E. Judson and Mrs. W. J. Skurr arranged an i( orange ” social in the Coronation Hall at Oxford, the proceeds of which are to help the prize fund at the daffodil show to be held in September. The hall was decorated with wattle and Iceland poppies and a Christmas tree was covered with “orange” gifts for everyone present.
