Burton Has Four Rounds Under 70
LONDON, Thu. (10 a.m.).—Dick Burton, former open golf champion, won the News Chronicle £ISOO professional golf tournament at Brighton today with a record British aggregate of 266 for 72 holes. His rounds were 68, 66, 64 and 68. Burton won by a margin of 12 strokes from Jimmy Adams, Scottish international, who finished with an aggregate of 278. Burton and Adams both returned rounds of 64 to beat the existing course record by two strokes.
