British Imports At Record Level
LONDON, Fri. (11 a.m.)—The value of British imports in the second quarter of this year reached a record of £581,600,000. An official of the Board of trade announced that this was £43,400,000 more than the first quarter, which was the previous highest level. The value of exports for the second quarter was £431,900.000 lower than the first quarter.
