UN Too Concerned With Europe'
• NEW DELHI. Fri. <ll a.m.).—Pandit Nehru, the Indian Prime Minister, ■aid today that the big powers were -o concerned about their own affairs that they had lost their sense of perspective. “They seem to have lost sight of ‘he fact that they are not the centre >i. the world’s gravity.” he said. He added that India was perhaps he only nation today which was genuinely trying to promote a “reorientitiun of relations between the East and West.” The United Nations did not think ohout Asian problems.
Mr Nehru said the Government had in its possession circulars issued by tfie Indian Communist Party “containing an open incitement to murder, violence and sabotage.” He added: “It is not their fault that their policy has not succeeded very much.
“They have, in fact, met with very substantial reverses and, as far as I understand the position, they are indulging hi some kind of heart-search-ing as to what they should do about it.”
