'Almost Impossible To Find Cause Of Death'

WELLINGTON, Sat. (P.A.) think it would be practically impossible to find the cause of this woman’s death,” said the coroner (Mr W. G. Meilish) at an inquest yesterday into the death of Miss Amy Lena Howarth, who was found dead at her home in Evans Bay Road on July 6. The body was lying across an electric radiator. Dr P. P. Lynch, pathologist, considered Miss Howarth had been dead since July 4, and that it was possible that she died either from a heart seizure or a cerebral seizure. The City Council electrical inspector said it was not possible that Miss Howarth had been electrocuted in the position in which she was found. Mr Meilish found that Miss Howarth had died on July 4, from either a heart or a cerebral seizure.
