Hotel Bookings
AUCKLAND. Sat. (Sp/L—ln an attempt to accommodate athletes and officials at the coming Empire Games a total of 490 bookings have been made in private hotels said the Games accommodation ofilcer (Mr W. J. Waghornt reporting to the Auckland Public Relations otTice yesterday. A total of 10.000 visitors is the anticipated number for which accommodation must be found if visitors from other parts of New Zealand and from the athletes.
