Accommodation For Visitors

AUCKLAND. Sat.. (Sp.L— Accommodation for visitors to Auckland for the British Empire Games next February. is being sought by the Auckland Provincial Public Relations Office.

At a meeting of the board of control yesterday, the public relations officer (Mr B. W. Barnett) outlined the scheme envisaged. Forms for distribution to people willing to provide accommodation have boon prepared. The people will be invited to state the nature of the accommodation and meals offered, and tlie number of people they will be prepared to take. Accommodation is sought for the period February 1 to 15. The Government has undertaken to in tod ucc special legislation amending the Tenancy Regulations to protect householders who make accommodation available to Ihe Public Relations Office for the period of the Games. Householders need have no fear that the visitor will become a permanent tenant.
