Ohoi Miners Halt
INVERCARGILL, Sat. (P.A.). When a trucker at the Wairaki State mine at Ohai was suspended for two days by the management, the miners held a stop-work meeting and decided to refuse work until the man was reinstated.
The loss of coal as a result of the stoppage is about 300 tons a day.
