N.Z. Communist's Australian Trip

WELLINGTON, Tue.. (P.A.I.—A denial that the New Zealand Communist Party had paid any of the expenses of his recent trip to Australia was made by the organising secretary of the party (Mr A. B. Skilton).

He was replying to a question asked in Parliament recently by Mr W. J. Broadfoot CO—Waitomo).

Mr Skilton said that although he attended some lectures at the Marx School in Sydney he and his wife and child made the trip on his own private business.

He added that the New Zealand Communist Party was not affiliated to the Cominform or any other Communist party.
