Australian League Team
BRISBANE, Mon., (10.30 am.).— The Australian Rugby League team to tour New Zealand comprises 18 players from New South Wales and four from Queensland. The team is:— Fullbacks, C. Churchill, V. Bulgin: wingers, H. J. Graves, R. Roberts, P. McMahon; centres, J. Hawke. M. McCoy, I. Johnston; five-eighths. W. O'Connell, F. Stanmore; halves, K. Froome, W. Thompson; locks, L. Cowie, N. Mulligan: second row, F. de Belin. J. Rayner. K. Hansen; front-, row props, R. Bull, J. Holland, A. Thompson; hookers. K. Schubert, R. Griffiths. The Queenslanders are McMahon, W. and A. Thompson, and Griffiths. , The team plays Northland at Whangarei. The engine and 12 of the 21 wagons of a mixed goods train from Blackball were derailed at 10.45 on Saturday morning, shortly after passing Ngahere station, on the route to Greymouth. Eight wagons were destroyed. The line was restored last night, enabling two goods trains from Buller and Inangahua. which had been delayed, to continue their journeys to the east coast. Four hundred members of an excursion party who were returning from Dunedin were brought to Greymouth by train and then conveyed to Westport by 15 buses.
