Expenditure On Referendum ?
Mr F. Langstone id—Roskill) gave notice in the House of Representatives today to ask the Minister of Internal Affairs for a return showing the amount of public money spent by the Government in connection with the compulsory military training campaign on advertisements in daily, weekly and monthly publications, on hiring halls and on transport by motor cars, rail, sea and air travel. He also sought a statement of the mileage recorded by Government cars used in the referendum campaign. Mr A. G. Osborne (G—Onehunga): A very good insurance.
