Gaol For Shocking Type Of Robbery
WELLINGTON. Fri. (P.A.) Convicted on what Mr Justice Smith in the Supreme Court today described as a “shocking type of robbery,” Raymond France Belgium Anzac Sykes, who was found guilty of robbery with violence and of assault, was sentenced to three years’ hard labour on the first count and on the second count was ordered to come up for sentence if called on within two years. Ruth Lilian Wilson, 30. domestic, who was also found guilty of robbery with violence, was admitted to probation for three years with special conditions.
