Presentation Made To Supr. S. E. Lowe

Appreciation of the work of the divisional superintendent of the Whangarei branch of the St John Ambulance Brigade. Mr S. E. Lowe, was expressed last night when a film evening was held to mark the close of parades and lectures for the 1948 season.

Mr Lowe was presented with a bowling bag, equipped with unorthodox first aid equipment, and suitably inscribed. Members, their wives and friends, attended the evening. The presentation was made during the supper recess. In accepting the bowling bag, Mr Lowe expressed his thanks to the members for the kind thoughts which had prompted their action.
