£287 Netted At WGHS Fair
The Whangarei Girls’ High School fair which was held in the Whangarei Town Hall yesterday afternoon netted £287.
This sum will go to the fund which is to be used to provide swimming baths for the school.
Appreciation of the generous support received from parents and from the public was this morning expressed by the chairman of the Parents’ Association (Mr C. J. Dent) and the principal of the school (Miss C. S. Bell).
