Finn Market For Wool At Napier
NAPIER. Sat. (P.A.) The Napier wool sale opened with an animated tone yesterday with American and Canadian buyers operating on extended limits for strong crossbred. Continental buyers bid freely for fine hogget and ewe wools and took the bulk of are offering. Bradford representatives retained interest throughout and many top-quality lines went to
New Zealand mills. There was some slackening in the sale during the afternoon, but values showed no signs of declining and the market for .a new catalogue which was started in the closing stages was fully as strong as the high level set in i file morning. j -It was thought that the further appreciation in London prices reported today was influencing the strong tone of the market to a degree.
