On account of strong head winds, no birds homed on the same day in the old-bird flock race held by the Whangarei Homing Pigeon Club from Paekakariki (369 miles). The winner, Gay Note, averaged 689 yards per minute and gave owner R. Longlands the Fisher Cup, The result was: R. Longlands’ me 8 Gay Note (689) 1; R. Wise’s bcc 281 Young Rix (580.5) 2; D.
