Gibbs Leads Glading
Golf Final .... .
DUNEDIN, Sat. (P.A.).—R. H. Glading (Titirangi) and A. iGibbs (Otago), began the final of the New Zealand amateur golf championship at Balmacewen this morning in dull weather. Both maintained steady golf and a birdie at the ninth gave Gibbs a lead of one up at the turn.
Gibbs increased his lead to 3 up at the end of the morning round which he completed in 70, two better than par, to Glading’s 73.
