WELLINGTON, Thu. (P.A.) The Prime Minister (Mr Fraser), commenting on the signing of the Western Pact, said the events of the past few weeks had brought the powerful realisation that failure to act together, to act now, and to act with vigour, would have most disastrous consequences He regarded the pact and President Truman’s speech as - matters of outstanding value and importance. New Zealand, he said, would play its part towards arriving at a solution of world problems.
