Hockey Ground For Maungatapere ?
At attempt will be made by the Maungatapere Hockey Club to find a home ground in the district, according to a decision reached at the annual meeting of the club.
If a suitable ground cannot be found the club’s team will continue to play at Kensington. Officers elected at the meeting were:—Patron, Mr S. Draffin; president, Mr H. Gunson; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Stevenson, K. Stevens, M. Vulctich, L. Guest, H. Maugham; secretary, Mr E. B. Price; captain, Mr P. Jenkins; vice-captain, Mr E. B. Price. MANGAPAI
One team will be fielded by the Mangapai Hockey Club, it was aeciaed at the annual meeting of the club on Monday night. Officers elected for the coming year were:—Patron, Mr P. S. Carter; president, Mr W. Ormandy; vice-presi-dents, Messrs F. Price, R. M. Thompson; secretary, Mr L. Cotton; captain, Mr’c. Holland.
