Australian Women Best Canterbury
CHRISTCHURCH, Mon. (P.A.).— The visiting Australian women’s cricket team had little difficulty in beating Canterbury at Lancaster Park on Saturday, dismissing the home team for 145 and 93. In its first innings, Australia scored 267 for four wickets before declaring, and thus won the game by an innings and 29 runs.
